If I did that it would make my life so much easier since I wouldn't be constantly scrolling through the post list trying to figure out what I've put up and what I haven't yet.

Second single by Danse Society. The Discogs descriptor for it is "goth rock". I'm not necessarily going to dispute that. The sleeve alone already makes their intentions clear.

DQE is short for Dairy Queen Empire. It's pretty obvious that actual Dairy Queen probably wouldn't much to do with this duo that they shortened it much like KFC did when the state trademarked the name of Kentucky and tried to make businesses license its use.

Some of the usual suspects are here. Tin Huey, the Bizarros. The two women from Chi-Pig. The Waitresses sounding very unlike what you think the Waitresses sound like. There's even a band from Japan for some reason. It's a good listen all the way through. It works fine with a track thrown into a shuffle playlist. It was NOS Clone Records and this was the very first time it was played, so if you're creepy like that you can just listen to this record lose its virginity if that's what you're into,

Book of Lies - Cryptic Memo (1983)

Avant-pop or something. It's artsy shit from Chicago anyway. Obscure as fuck and entirely enjoyable for those who like that sort of thing. I do, at least. 

I'm also amused that one of the cover images for it on Discogs is my exact copy with the radio station writing on it. I didn't take the photo. It was there before I bought the thing. Life is funny that way.
